I had to hold back on the number of images to post from this shoot, as there were so many unique shots. What a fabulous setting we had for this "era" style session. And I love the look that our makeup and hair artist Sonia went with. She worked her magic and put the final touches on our already, beautiful lady.

Stay tuned, for another exciting shoot, that will take us right back to the 50's and 60's era.

The rain the wind and the chilly February temps couldn't keep the smiles away from these girls. We all have friends, but true friends are hard to come by. And when you see the connection these two have, you know that these beautiful gals will be friends forever. I had so much fun with them, and as beautiful as they are on the outside, their true beauty shines from within......Hard not to love these sweet peas*

Not just another Saturday morning in White Rock...

Best friends, sooo sweet and absolutely beautiful inside and out..what a combination! Sometimes in life we come across people who are just blessed with natural beauty. If I had a crystal ball and could see into the future, I would predict that this is just the beginning of many many more photo shoots to come*

LIL SNOW MONKEYS....

Manning Park was the perfect backdrop for these lil snow monkeys to show us what a winter wonderland is all about.

A beautiful thing about children is they can adapt and embrace ALMOST every environment that they find themselves in. They can turn a mound of snow into endless fun. And for them a frozen pond into a perfect place for a hockey game that will go on for hours on end. Boredom fades as their imagination turns a winter landscape into a playground of snowballs and snow forts. Just a few hours from our doorsteps, Manning Park is a fabulous escape whether it's winter tube rides, wood burning fires, or summer hikes. If you want to see your children glow with excitement, this is definitely a place to go.

FILM ROBOT MEETS "GEORGE"

A fabulous evening was had by all, at the swanky hot spot “George” in Yaletown.

Film Robot’s Christmas party was the reason behind all the bling, dresses, and suits that were being sported. The night was filled with great wines and fabulous finger foods including the always scrumptious canape's, and a great little treat, individual fish and chip boxes.

Throughout the evening tickets were being sold for great give always including cases of wine, hockey tickets, fantastic gift baskets and believe it or not even a trip. If you were lucky enough to be holding one of the lucky tickets, your prize was presented by two fabulous MC’s, James Gordon the CTV Movie Guy, and The Team 1040's Joe Leary.

Between the silent auction and raffle sales, many dollars were raised for a fabulous cause, The BC Hospitality Foundation.

The evening was a huge success, and thanks to Film Robot and George Restaurant and Lounge……you guys are a great combination!

A HOME ISN'T JUST A HOUSE...

When most think of a house, they think of somewhere to live. Where to go to bed, eat meals, watch tv and to store belongings.

However to some, a house has meaning, much more than just a place to reside. To them a house isn't just a house. It’s a home. It's a lifetime of memories, rooms full of treasures, walls echoing laughter, a yard with trees planted with thought, and sentiment. Fences built, roads paved, ponds filled, grass and flowers put into place without contemplation of a next home.

Sometimes life doesn't always pan out as planned, and the house, once thought to be built to live in forever, is no longer.

I spent some time with this wonderful family, on this amazing property, to help capture 30 years of memories in just a few hours. It's sad to think that these beautiful grounds, that are home to a 50 foot Willow tree amongst many others planted by this family in the past30 years, may soon be leveled for condos.

Next time you drive by a clear cut lot, consider that at one time it could have been someplace special for someone... I know I will!

I am sure that this family will once again find a wonderful place to call home, and fill the walls with many more laughs and memories.

A WEDDING AT BARAKA RANCH

These shots are from a very special wedding that I had the pleasure to attend just outside of Edmonton. "Baraka Gardens" was the fabulous venue to host such a special day. My sister in law is the owner/operator of this amazing property that made the setting magical. The flowers alone were absolutely beautiful. Another reason this wedding was so special, my cousin and his lovely wife fulfilled a dream of being married in Canada. They travelled many miles with both sets of parents from jolly old England to make this a day for everyone to remember. I wish them a million laughs and exciting adventures to come**
